There are multiple websites that offer tickets for visiting the House of Parliament for a short time period. Just go out there and follow the links and criteria for visiting the House of Parliament. Because you could only visit it for 90 minutes on some days. You cannot visit the parliament during the session day. Just grab your ticket from the website and schedule your visit to the Parliament and watch the process of how the public representatives make decisions there. My ticket was scheduled for the 26th of May when my visit to the House of Parliament was due. I need a cab service to take me to the House of Parliament from my location. I visited the web portal of the online London City Airport Cab Service company provider and hired a cab for my transfer from my location to the House of Parliament. The cab reached my door. It takes me to the House of Parliament in a few minutes. I am very satisfied with the skills of the cab driver.

Spending my 90 minutes there I had to learn about the working body of the parliament and how they work, either the government or the opposition. Before this, I was not well informed about the parliament’s procedural working body. I mentioned below all the learnings there about the Parliament, its members, and their contributions to the law-making process and its implementation. Parliament exists to represent our interests and ensure that the government takes them into account. Without the approval of Parliament, the government cannot make new laws or impose new taxes. Parliament is made up of both elected and appointed representatives. They are divided into two houses:

The House of Commons, where all of the people we elected as MPs in the General Election will serve for the next five years. The House of Lords, whose members are mostly appointed rather than elected for life. Parliament's role is to scrutinize the government's proposals and oversee how they are carried out. Parliament works on our behalf to ensure that the government's decisions are: transparent and open, non-discriminatory and fair. The House of Parliament has about 1100 rooms, 100 staircases, and 4.8 kilometres of pathways spread across four floors. Offices, dining rooms, and bars occupy the bottom floor. The first floor (also known as the major floor) houses the palace's important rooms, such as the debating chambers, lobbies, and libraries. Committee rooms and offices are located on the upper two floors. Members of Parliament enter the building by the Members' Entrance, which is located on the south side of the New Palace Yard. The Speaker's Court and the main entrance to the Speaker's House, are located in the pavilion in the palace's northeast corner.

After watching the members of the parliament there, their role in the law-making process is completely well played. I needed to get out of the building as my time was about to end for the trip. I rushed out of the building and hired a London cab service company and they took me to my location. I was really delighted to witness all the stunning buildings of the House of Parliament.
